questions

A series of questions from my fellow peers: How will I keep the piece from being slow or dry and keep my audience engaged? How will pacing and editing be utilized?  Will it be slow and contemplative? Will I engage with differing opinions on the subject matter? What will be the length of the work? How will the project differ from other works with the same subject matter? How will you engage and maintain emotional interest? What will be the scale and form of the piece? Will the work include negative aspects or be one-sided? How will I frame the story? Will it feel like a PSA? When will I be filming this project? Will I be in the film? What's the end point of the piece and overarching argument? Will this work have any fun in it? Will you highlight WI renewable energy and other forms of sustainability? How does one person fit into this story? I hope to address or answer all of these questions over the coming weeks.

An initial layout of my project proves difficult to see the whole form of the piece. I spent seven days journaling to stimulate ideas and begin to give shape to my senior project. I find the need to resist overanalyzing and always remember to simplify.
